This original oil painting was inspired by the movie "Stand By Me" (1986), about four boys and their deep friendship. The last line of the movie (below) was so poignant that it runs through my mind frequently...

"It happens sometimes; friends come in and out of your life like busboys at a restaurant. I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?"

"The Boys" is an ORIGINAL piece of fan art. The size of the stretched canvas is 16x20", with sides painted reddish, to match the underpainting, for a finished look. It will be sent signed and securely wrapped!
